Steak Bowls are pretttyy yummy.. The marinade gives this simple dish a great flavor.
Here's what you'll need:
8 oz. steak
Salsa of your choice (I used Pace Picante Hot)
1 c. brown rice
Veggies of Choice (I used carots, green beans, broccoli, and onion)
Marinade:
5 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/3 tsp. Onion Powder
First, mix up your marinade and mix your steak and marinade together in a baggie or Tupperware.
Put in your refrigerator and let marinate for an hour minimum, I highly suggest 5-24 hours.
When you are ready to eat, Cook you rice to package directions.
While that's cooking, chop your veggies and cut up your steak into small pieces.
Spray a pan with olive oil or coconut oil cooking spray. Add steak and cook over medium-high heat for about 6-10 minutes
or until cooked to your liking. Drain any grease.
When your rice is done, add in your salsa for flavor, then build your bowls:
Rice, Veggies, and then steak.
Enjoy!
