Soo often pizza messes up our diet. I HAD to find a way for us to have it without guilt!
Luckily, this pepperoni pizza "meatza" is only 150 calories per slice, and it's also grain-free and low-carb.
And another bonus.. it's cheap and easy to make!
Here's what you'll need:
10 oz. Ground Turkey
Turkey Pepperoni
4 oz. Mozzarella Cheese
1 Small can of Hunts Natural Roasted Garlic Sauce
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Onion Powder
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees
In a small bowl, combine ground turkey and seasonings, and mix together (do not overmix). Roll into a large ball.
Spray a 9" round baking pan, add your turkey and form the turkey into a crust by pushing down on the turkey ball until the whole bottom of the pan is covered and the turkey is coming up just a little bit on the sides to form a "crust". Note: The meat will shrink a little bit so push it up a little more than you want it to actually be.
Bake for 15 minutes
Remove from oven. There will likely be some moisture on the top of the turkey at this point, so blot it with a paper towel
Add your sauce, cheese, and pepperoni, and put back in oven
Bake for an additional 10 minutes
Remove from oven, cut into 4 slices, and serve
Enjoy!
