Is Team Beachbody Coaching a SCAM?

One of the main reasons why people believe that it's a scam is because Team Beachbody Coaches are independent contractors and business owners, we are not employees of the company... meaning that, just like any other online business owner, we have to have website set up and hosted... and that costs money. Most online business owners spend at least $1500 on a website, plus thousands upon thousands of dollars in advertising to get people to that site. As a Beachbody Coach, you are starting your own online Beachbody Franchise, for $39.99 (to get your 4 websites made for you). Or $140-$205 to become Active to take advantage of the full compensation plan. But even with our highest priced package, $250 is much less than what most online business owners pay for even just their website, and that price isn't for your website... it's investing in your health and getting a fitness program and Shakeology, and your website fee is waived when you invest in your health. So technically, if you were a customer who was getting a Challenge Pack, you could start an online business for FREE since it doesn't cost more to get your websites with a pack that you were already going to get anyway.

But paying to work isn't JUST for online business owners. Think about it ... Have you ever started a job and been told you had to buy something beforehand? If so, Why would you not do the same to have your OWN business and FREEDOM?

If I told you... I have two jobs for you to choose from:

#1 - A job with a reputable company that you trust.

You will be scheduling appointments, responding to voice mails, and answering calls that are forwarded to you from their phone system.

- Hours are 10am-5pm Mon-Fri and 10am-3pm Saturdays

- 1 week paid vacation

- Pay is $400/wk (10hr//40hr. wk).

- Before you start, you will need to purchase a quality headset and a 2 line phone system ($80+ for both on Amazon)

#2 - A career with a top company in the fitness industry - from home.

Your daily tasks will include helping people physically and financially to better their lives.

- Set your own hours

- Unlimited vacation days - all paid

- Following our training system, You could potentially make anywhere between $250-$400/wk during months 1-6. On month 6 you can be making $500+/wk (instead of the $400 from the previous job). On month 12, you can be making $1,500+ weekly.

On month 24, while you are still making $400/wk at job #1, you could be making $2,500-$4,000 weekly on job #2.

FYI: An elite Beachbody Coach recently announced that on the anniversary of the 2nd year as a Coach she was making $5,084 per week, and on the anniversary of her 3rd year as a Coach she made a WHOPPING $22,181... THAT IS FOR ONE WEEK! How's that for a raise?? Pretty awesome & Inspiring!!

Which would you choose?

I make this example because people pay for jobs all the time, they just don't look at it that way because it's not a work from home job or business opportunity, which have a bad rep because there have been scam companies out there. I paid for EVERY job I ever had -- And I HATED my jobs! When I was a server it was always non-slip shoes, black pens, when I worked in an office I had to get a WHOLE NEW wardrobe that was 'office appropriate', and no matter what job I had, I had to put gas in my car. I was PAYING TO WORK! I do understand the concern though, because there are A LOT of SCAMS out there. My fiance thought getting involved in this business was a terrible idea when I first started (boy, has his perspective changed though!). But, I am sure that any company that was stealing money from people to "work from home" did not have products that millions of people use, real websites with real customer service/coach relations lines, and forums on their site that customers and Coaches post in on a daily basis.

I also make this example to show you that regular jobs aren't going to allow you to become financially free within your first 5 (or even 10) years. After being with a "regular" company for 2 years, you could potentially get a raise to $600/wk from job #1... but you could be making $1900+ MORE than that with Beachbody. In 5-10 years, you could be making $800-$1,000/wk from that job.. or making $5,000-$10,000/wk from Beachbody. Even at $25/hr, you still are only making $1,000 week. Thousands of Beachbody Coaches are making more than that weekly, but not having to work 40/hr weeks to get that paycheck.... and Team Beachbody is still in its infancy stages, it has only been around since 2007. People are making six and seven figure incomes within their first 5-6 years. My upline Coach, Kristi, started 2 years ago. She is currently making over $10,000 every month.

Only 16% of families nationwide earn over $100,000/year. That is for the entire household, not just one person.. and includes salaried employees as well. How many people do you know that went to college and are bartenders trying to pay off their student loans? That is a lot of debt, and not a lot of money to pay it off!

People put money into jobs and careers all the time, without seeing any benefit down the road. This business is SET UP FOR SUCCESS! We give every Coach the tools to become an Elite Coach and/or to give themselves a raise at any time. How many jobs that you've had or interviewed for can honestly say that in 1-5 years you could be making a 6 figure income? If you want that type of lifestyle and freedom, You have to make a change and try something new. This business doesn't require you to have a specific skill set, fancy degree or work for 40 years to see the financial benefits of the company. ANYONE can do this and be successful!

Now, another reason why people think this business is a scam is because they know of someone or heard of someone who got into a similar business model, or even became a Coach with Beachbody, and didn't make any money. Yes, ANYONE can do this, ANYONE can be successful, ANYONE can make they type of income that they desire with us -- no matter what their financial goals are -- but that doesn't mean that EVERYONE will. Lots of people become Coaches and just don't have the desire to make it work for them. I've had Coaches on my own team who have said they have BIG DREAMS and they want to Coach, they sign up, I send them the training, and they NEVER start it. They never put in any time. I try to reach out, and don't hear back. It happens... and I am here to help each and every one of my team members to reach the level of success that they want/need, but it is up to YOU to actually put the work in and make your business successful. I can HELP you, but I can't DO IT FOR YOU. So, yes, there are people who don't ever reach the goals that they initially set out for themselves as a Coach and end up believing it is a scam, but there aren't many jobs that you can do absolutely nothing at and make an income.

Another thing that I hear all the time is "I just can't afford to pay the $39.99 to get started". That is just an excuse, there is always a way. We have several successful Coaches on our team who were unemployed parents or in school and broke, looking for a way out of barely scraping by and decided that they were going to make it happen. Spend less on groceries for a couple days, Don't go out on Friday night, Don't go get that Starbucks frappuccino for a few days. There is always a way!

What are your dreams? What do you want from life? Is what you are currently doing going to allow you to reach those dreams? This company is ALL about Dreaming BIG! Reach for the stars -- if you want it, you CAN have it! For a lot of people that requires making a change in their life, and it may be scary... Some people think you can't afford to take that type of risk... but honestly, How can you afford NOT to? You are NEVER alone throughout your journey as a Coach -- I will always be there to train or help you in any way! It couldn't be easier to have an amazing career that you LOVE!
